The IGA's
aims and functions
are to
undertake world class research in geometry and its applications at The University of Adelaide;
provide support for research activities in this field, including assistance in obtaining external and, where appropriate, industry funding;
co-ordinate workshops in areas relevant to the research interests of members of the Institute;
attract postgraduate students, promote research and postgraduate training in the general area of geometry and its applications; and
promote the formation of national and international links.
