Index Theory and Related Areas

The University of Adelaide, September 30 - October 4, 2019

About the conference

Index Theory, an extremely fertile research area lying in the intersection of geometry, topology and analysis. One of main question in index theory is to study the relation between analytic index of elliptic operators and topology index of manifolds, this relation unveil deep information about manifolds. In the past four decades, index theory have wide applicability in many fields, including, but not limited to, K-theory, gauge theory and physics. The purpose of the conference is to bring together leading researchers in Australia and abroad to discuss new developments in index theory and inspire the next generation of mathematicians.

Venue : Room 7.15, Level 7 of the Ingkarni Wardli building, University of Adelaide (map).

Time: September 30 - October 4(Monday to Friday).
